Fifties Professionals is a case of a good idea that's poorly executed. The comedic tone of this series is at odds with its serious action orientation. It also seems to send the rather odious message that anyone in their fifties is over the hill, a figure of ridicule and fun.
Limited upsides include decent acting and action, but the handling is so off it hardly matters.
In summary, a great idea ruined by dismal handling. A wholly mediocre watch, not to mention rather disrespectful to older viewers.
