This show has everything you want for both comic and non comic book fans. It's well written, witty and includes a lot of great cameos. Please bring us a season two! I really recommend it.
I'm late to the party, but this was actually a pretty good series. It definitely didn't take any of the sorry woke dips in writing you'd - >groans< - normally expect from most any comic orientated entity of the past 7-10 years. Loved the adult themes, violence, team-ups, and plot twists in both narrative and scheme. I can't say I like giving Gunn *any* flowers, given the luke warm output in making his Superpeople movies, but this series was masterfully written. It downright makes you wonder if he bypassed someone who is put in a specific position,…

It downright makes you wonder if he bypassed someone who is put in a specific position, to ruin scripts/narratives with DEI/ESG statuettes, in order to get the series aired; it's that good.
I can't believe I'm actually using this phrase for a comic studio source in motion media, but "I really hope" - god, that feels weird - there is a second season just to see if this first season wasn't a one-off, i.e., blind luck. (*Peacemaker* ring any bells?)
Hope you enjoy viewing as much as I did! -- Bob --
