Sporsén was a longtime member of Håkan Hellström’s band from its inception in 2000 until 2023, appearing on multiple albums and major tours and helping shape the group’s distinctive sound. Alongside his bandmates, he co-founded the ensemble Augustifamiljen, which served as the house band for the Swedish TV quiz show På spåret for many seasons, with Sporsén often acting as musical director.
